최은주 아라는 영국 왕립 예술학교에서 애니메이션 석사과정을 밟았다. 작품으로는 ‘기면증 - 그 사이’와 졸업작품 ‘해피엔딩’을 제작하였다. 최근 수상경력은 자그레브 국제 애니메이션 영화제(2019) 학생경쟁부분 특별 언급을 받았다. 현재 독일 베를린 거주 하면서 독립 다큐멘터리 애니메이션 감독으로 활동하고 있다.

EunJu Ara Choi studied MA Animation at Royal College of Art. Her works are ‘Narcolepsy; in the between’ and her graduation film ‘Happy Ending’. She got an award of Special Mentions Student Film Competition at Animafest Zagreb 2019. She is currently living in Berlin, Germany. She is working as an independent documentary animation director.
